Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease which can cause chronic inflammation of the joints and other areas of the body. It is a serious disease that attacks the joints and other body parts.
SYMPTOMS OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
The symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis come and go, depending on the degree of tissue inflammation. When body tissues are inflamed, the disease is active. When tissue inflammation subsides, the disease is inactive (in remission). Common symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are as below:
- Joint swelling and pain
- Morning joint stiffness
- Poor sleep
- Loss of weight
- A feeling of having the like symptoms
